Dancer + Artist
Hi! I’m Jaala “Jay” Prescod, a Toronto-based dancer making bold moves on and off stage. I live between a triple pirouette and a hard-hitting groove, blending commercial, hip-hop, contemporary, and musical theatre into something precise, raw, and always in the pocket. Whether hitting the stage or on the screen, I bring clean lines, musicality, and good energy.
I’m passionate about storytelling through movement and have a strong ability to embody characters and understand narratives, bringing them to life on stage and screen.
I’m known for my adaptability and versatility, easily shifting between dance styles and emotional tones to meet the needs of any role.
I’m actively working toward a career in TV, film, and stage performance, while continuing to expand my training in camera work and acting to refine my craft and connect with audiences in powerful ways.
